Beautiful ground floor apartment situated in Lago Jardin, Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca region of Spain. Just 35 minutes from Murcia airport, 45 minutes from Alicante airport, 10 minutes from magnificent sandy beaches and 5 minutes from newly built Torrevieja Hospital!.

This apartment sleeps 5 people. There is one twin-bedded room with double wardrobe, bedside cabinet with lamp and hairdryer, and one double sofa-bed in lounge with third pull-out bed beneath.

Fully equipped kitchen includes washing machine, fridge, oven with 2 ring hob, microwave, kettle & toaster. All linen and towels are provided. There is Spanish digital TV with some English programmes. Ceiling fans are installed throughout. Bathroom suite with powerful shower and bath.

Patio doors run through to dining room and out onto the marble patio which has a terrace with barbecue, patio furniture and sun loungers. The terrace overlooks stunning tropical gardens with fountains and is adjacent to acres of orange and lemon groves and the Laguna de Torrevieja.

There are ceiling fans in the lounge and bedroom, 2 freestanding fans and a mobile air-con unit for summer and 2 oil radiators for the winter. There is a huge communal swimming pool (open all year round) with disabled facilities, a life-guard in summer, showers and toilets.

There are also 2 brilliant local supermarkets close by. The Mercadona supermarket is just opposite the Urbanisation.

The terrace bar is run by Spanish locals and has a typical tapas bar atmosphere. It serves excellent food all day and there is entertainment every evening during the summer and 2/3 nights during the winter. Torrevieja is an ideal place from which to explore the Costa Blanca region. There is a tennis club, a new yacht harbour (the Marina International) in the centre of Torrevieja, with schools for surfing, water-skiing, diving and flying. There are also facilities for fishing, go-carting, bowling and mini golf.

There is also an Aqua Park, an increasingly wide choice of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, boutiques, night-clubs and clean, safe beaches.

Every Friday there is a street market in Torrevieja, which offers shoes, clothes, jewellery and economy goods and there is a daily tourist market along the sea-front. There are also daily markets in nearby towns and villages which are well worth exploring.

Please pay the cleaner 45€ on arrival, for the cleaning and laundry fee, (55€ for 4 people) and she will hand you the keys and show you how everything works.

Taxi service can be arranged from the airport if desired, at 45€ each way from/to Alicante airport and 40€ each way from/to Murcia airport.

N.B. A BRAND NEW HOSPITAL HAS NOW BEEN BUILT JUST 5 MINS AWAY ON THE LOCAL BUS ROUTE! - THIS IS 'TORREVIEJA HOSPITAL'. ALSO A BRAND NEW HOTEL OPPOSITE THE URBANISATION. For golf enthusiasts, there are 3 international golf courses just a short drive away. These include the famous Villamartin, La Manga and Campamoar courses. The property is beside a salt lake, from which the mud is very good for your skin.
