Villa Rosa is a ground floor villa. The accommodation has 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, double wardrobe, chest of drawers with mirror above, 2 bedside cabinets with lamps and hair dryer. The modern bathroom consists of wc, wash basin, shower and front-loading washing machine. There is a fully equipped kitchen with oven, gas/electric hobs, combination microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker, ironing board and iron, wide range of crockery, glasses and cutlery. The lounge has a double sofa-bed, English TV, DVD player with a good selection of DVD's for you to watch, radio/CD player with CD's, coffee table and pine dresser which houses books, puzzle books, playing cards and boules. There is a glazed porch area with dining table and chairs. The porch leads to a large secluded tiled terrace and pretty, colouful garden area. There is also a lockable storage shed, in which you will find patio table, chairs and parasol, 2 sun loungers, BBQ, 2 bikes for you to use, chairs, mats and umbrella for the beach. The villa benefits from fly screens to all windows and recently installed air conditioning for both cooling and heating. Additional heaters are also supplied for the cooler winter evenings.

Within a 10 minute walk are the golden sandy beaches of the Mar Menor, a safe, shallow saltwater lagoon, enclosed by the famous La Manga strip. A tree-lined promenade, which runs for approx 7 kilometres is ideal for strolling or biking, with beach cafes regularly spaced along the way. These are ideal for a coffee or cool drink and lunchtime tapas and snacks. The Mar Menor is an ideal location for water sports with sailing, kite and wind surfing. All water sports equipment is available for hire.

There are a number of supermarkets within walking distance, the closest being 2 minutes walk away, where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, freshly baked bread, milk and everything else you will need. Local markets selling a fantastic range of fresh produce, clothing, etc can be found on most days in the local vicinity.

Also within walking distance of the Villa are a range of bars, cafes and restaurants which provide many different types of food to accommodate all tastes - Pizzerias, Chinese, Indian, Mediterranean, English, etc. Some of these bars provide evening entertainment or large screen TV's for sporting events.

The area is very popular for golfers, with several golf courses within easy reach, including the famous La Manga Club.

If your preference is also to see some more of the area, we can recommend visits to the historic town of Cartegena with it's fine old buildings, Roman amphitheatre and marina. In the regions main city of Murcia, relax with a coffee or cool drink in the square next to the magnificent cathedral, enjoy a spot of shopping in the wide variety of shops or browse the museums.

At San Pedro del Pinatar, if you are lucky, you will be able to see the pink flamingos taking a break from their migration journey. In addition to these, there are many small fishing villages and harbours - Cabo de Palos is well worth a visit. If you require peace and tranquility, there a number of National Parks and Lakes with magnificent mountains and scenery.

Villa Rosa is conveniently situated within 5 minutes drive/taxi from Murcia (San Javier) Airport. Alicante Airport is a 50 minute drive away.

There are no set check in/check out days and we will try to accommodate your needs and be as flexible as possible.

A £50 deposit is required to secure a booking, with the balance payable 4 weeks before the rental period commences.

There are no additional charges for utilities or for use of the bikes.
