The scenery is spectacular with sea views to Gibraltar and Morocco from parts of the estate. LeedsCasa Bermeja is a traditional 100-year-old stone cottage that has been lovingly restored retaining many original features such as seasoned chestnut beams and a cosy open fireplace. Designed as a romantic and stylish retreat for couples it boasts a king size double bed and splendid handmade Ronda furniture in the open plan living/sleeping suite. An antique arched door leads to the bathroom attractively decorated with hand painted tiles from Seville, while a second archway leads to a compact and well-equipped kitchen. This cottage has never failed to delight our guests.It is excellent walking and bird watching country. Wildlife includes deer, wild boar, ibex, and mongoose. Owner has dogs, cats and donkeys. The beautiful white village of Casares offers restaurants and shops just a 3km drive away down a mountain track. The legendary towns of Ronda, Granada and Seville can all be reached as a day trip, by scenic train if you wish. Casares is ideally situated as the starting point for exploring the other picturesque white villages of the Serrania de Ronda and its breathtaking landscapes. Beaches and golf courses are a 25-minute drive as are the supermarkets of Sabinillas.There is a TV and video, CD, DVD, and radio. A separate kitchen with hob, oven and fridge. Bathroom with shower. Iron and ironing board and use of washing machine in separate outside utility room. Outside is a patio with garden furniture and sunbeds. A barbecue and pool (10m x 5m, depth 1.5m) set in its own gardens with sunbeds. Restaurants and shops just 3km to Casares. Supermarket 25 min drive, Mediterranean beaches 25 min drive, Atlantic beaches 75 min drive, Malaga Airport 75 min drive, Gibraltar Airport 60 min drive, Seville and Granada 3 hour drive each.
