Denia is a medium-sized town on Spain's Mediterranean coast, 1 hour south of Valencia and 5 hours south of Barcelona by car. Denia is a fishing town, home port for ferries to the Balearic islands of Mallorca and Ibiza, and offers a pleasant balance between typical local life (open markets, shopping, parks) and vacation activities (sailing & motor boating, seaside bars, dining golfing, and walking trails). Villa 'El Moro' is set on a hillside, in Denia's prestigious enclave of Las Rotas. The home enjoys privileged sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Montgo protected land reserve, and the coastal cities of Denia and Gandia. Although it affords guests a high level of privacy, it is just a short 10 minute drive from Denia's center.

The Cape Sant Antoni Marine Reserve is a short 3 minutes drive down the hill. Several coastal walking trails begin here, there are a couple of cozy seaside restaurants, and a beach promenade that stretches all the way into Denia center starts here.

Villa El Moro is a secluded retreat for those who enjoy privacy, the outdoors, and stunning views. The home has two bedrooms plus an open living area. The living room, dining room, and kitchen flow together in a spacious open layout, and enjoy unobstructed panoramic views thanks to the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. There is a 30" flatscreen TV with international satellite channels, a stereo receiver, DVD/CD player and iPod dock in the living room, along with an XBox 360. A large DVD library and a few XBox games are available for use while in the villa. Internet is accessible in all rooms via WiFi. For the cooler months, the living room also has a closed wood-burning fireplace.

The master bedroom has one queen size bed, and has valley and partial sea views through floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, which offer direct access to the terrace. There is also a small flat-screen tv for watching DVDs in the master bedroom. The second bedroom offers two twin beds and has windows opening to the rear terrace with hot tub and small garden. Both rooms offer ample hanging and folding storage space. The bathroom is located in the hall adjacent to both bedrooms. Guests are invited to pick fruit (oranges & lemons) and fresh herbs (lavender, rosemary, mint) from the terraced garden when these are in season. Outdoor amenities include an 'infinity' swimming pool, above-ground hot tub, expansive terraces, an outdoor covered lounge, a separate outdoor dining area, two gas grills, an outdoor shower, and chaise lounges. The home is free-standing, so all amenities are for the exclusive use of our guests. It is not part of a holiday/condo community. It is a very private retreat.
