Lomas Del Golf is located in the Costa Blanca, not far from the town of Torrevieja and close to Alicante and Murcia airports.It comprises a number of ground and first floor apartments in a pleasant, quiet location. Each group of apartments has its own pool, but residents may use any one of the Lomas pools should they so desire; they are well maintained and suitable for serious swimming as well as playing or just cooling off. For the more active, tennis may be played at the Villamartin Golf Club just down the road; horse riding and cycle hire are also available.

The first floor apartment is within walking distance of the well known Villamartin Square with its supermarket, bank, music bars, shops and numerous International restaurants. More bars and restaurants are also to be found just behind the apartment.The accommodation comprises a balcony with table and chairs. The living area is open plan with a spacious lounge/dining area and an American style kitchen. The lounge area has digital satellite TV, a comfortable sofa bed and armchairs. The kitchen is fully fitted including cooker and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, washing machine and iron. The dining area contains a table and four chairs. There are two bedrooms both with twin beds and wardrobes. There is one bathroom with over-bath shower. All rooms are air conditioned, and the system may also be used to provide central heating. All linen and towels are provided, and water and electricity are included in the price. The apartment is looked after by some helpful English people who live just up the road from where the key may be obtained.Should there be a maintenance problem, they will be happy to help.A short ride brings you to the award winning, blue flag beaches of La Zenia and, a little further on, Cabo Roig and Campoamar. These beaches are extremely well maintained by a vigilant, safety conscious staff. There are bars on the beaches where lunch may be obtained, and also larger restaurants overlooking La Zenia and Campoamar. If you want a break from swimming, volley ball, reading or reposing , there is a pleasant coastline walk along a carefully designed path from Playa Flamenca through La Zenia to Cabo Roig. A further ten minutes drive from La Zenia brings you to the heart of Torrevieja, a bustling town situated along the coastline with its own beaches, marina, night clubs, restaurants and shops – a very popular resort with the Spaniards themselves. For those with children, there is also a Water Park in Torrevieja. Also there are the interesting historic towns of Orihuela, Murcia, Elche and Cartagena, all 40 minutes drive away. Go to Lo Pagan beach for calm, warm swimming, south on N332.For golf enthusiasts, there are three eighteen hole courses very close by and several more within 40 minutes drive.The championship course of Villa Martin is less than a mile from the apartment, a course that has held the Spanish Open and boasts some challenging holes; only short drives away are the courses of Campoamar and Las Ramblas, both scenic and sometimes demanding. However, all three courses may be enjoyed by both high and low handicappers. Also a long, panoramic course called La Finca has recently opened and is expected to become a championship course; this is approximately fifteen
kilometres away. There are several courses near Alicante including the picturesque Alenda up in the mountains. And, of course, there is La Manga some half an hour to the south. I can give you more information about these courses.

Car hire is available locally or from the airports (a good deal can often be made in conjunction with the flight). Transfers may be arranged and a welcome pack provided.

Precise directions will be sent once the rental has been agreed.The property is 40 minutes or less from Alicante or Murcia airports and is just a short distance south of Torrevieja.

£50 should be paid in advance to confirm booking and the remainder sent before leaving for the holiday.

Electricity,water etc.are included but there is a one off cleaning charge of 50 euros which is payable locally, on arrival. However, this is for a maximum of 4 people; if there are 5, then it will be an extra 7.50 Euros.Please have the money available when you collect the key which is obtained from the same source.
