The cottage with verandas facing north and south, painted with similar colors of the mines, one thatched parking lot and another thatched pavilion by the swimming pool, denote a certain African nostalgia where the owner lived for so many years.

Lodging in the Cortijo
The cottages are very comfortable, simple and decorated in an original style where everybody feels at home. Each double/bedroom has a private bathroom, air conditioning, hot or cold. The dining/ lounges have a fireplace and a ceiling fan and a totally equipped kitchen. There is one veranda table for each cottage to sit outside and other garden furniture for community use. Padal tennis court (prior booking required) and one (6x12m) swimming pool for all the residents.

The property has 4 heaters, gardens with fountains, a draw well, fruit trees and in other parts there are horses and sheep grazing.

The cortijo Zalamea is situated in a strategic enclave, half way between Huelva beaches and the Mountains of Aracena, in the heart of the mining valley of Rio Tinto. The national park Coto Donana at 80 km. Sanctuary of animal and migratory birds from Africa and north countries.
