Welcome to Can Roura. Can Roura is located in Sant Daniel Valley, surrounded by nature and very close to the city of Girona, a centre of history and culture. The house, a former barn, has been refurbished and transformed into a very comfortable country apartment. One can enjoy the peace and quiet of the magnificent surroundings while still having quick and easy access to the old quarter of Girona. The house has space for four people; there are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds), a bathroom, and a very spacious kitchen which doubles as a dining room and as a living room. The house is completely fitted with a glass-ceramic stovetop, refrigerator, toaster and all utensils and household goods for cooking. There is heating, a washing machine, an iron, a TV and internet connection. We provide travel cot and high chair for children. You’ll find the apartment in a perfect state, including sheets and bath towels. The house has also got a lot of space outside including a porch for relaxing in the shade. Outside parking available.
Coves and coastal villages
Some are only 30 minutes away. There is the Cap de Creus national park, Sant Martí d’Empúries, the Medes islands, the Begur coves, Tossa de Mar, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Lloret and Blanes. Barcelona is 100 km away. And as well:
Lake Banyoles, only 15 minutes away. Besalú, Hostalets d’en Bas, Castellfollit de la Roca and the small villages of Oix and Beget. The national park of the volcanic region of La Garrotxa. And there is always the chance to make excursions and climb to the peaks of the Pyrenees, to Ulldeter or to Núria valley.
Sant Daniel and the springs
Can Roura is located in la Vall de Sant Daniel, a peaceful area surrounded by fields and riparian forests. It is an ideal spot for strolling, exploring and enjoy the great number of springs (font in Catalan) to be found in the area: there’s la font del Bisbe, la font d’en Fita, la font dels Lleons, la font del Ferro, and more!
The old quarter of Girona
Can Roura is special in that it is a place for enjoying the peace and quiet of its country environment while still allowing easy access to the city of Girona, with all of its sites such as the cathedral, the Arabic baths, the Jewish quarter, the houses along the Onyar river, and more.
Hiking, mountain biking and rail trails
If sports and nature are your thing, this is a great spot for outings to Sant Miquel or to the Santuari dels Àngels. Can Roura is close to a rail trail, the via verda del carrilet, which goes from Olot to Girona and then on to Sant Feliu de Guíxols – effectively it is a way to go from the sea to the Pyrenees, passing through the city of Girona.

By plane
You can rent a car in the airport, take a taxi or the bus. They will all get you to Girona quickly.

All rates are in Euros. All-inclusive price for the apartment for 1 or 2 people: 2-6 days 90 €/day; +6 days 85 €/day. All-inclusive price for the apartment for 3 or 4 people: 2-6 days 120 €/day; +6 days 110 €/day. If your stay is longer than 2 weeks check de prices with the owner. There is a daily supplement of 25 euros for an additional bed.
