Our two bedroom, two bathroom luxury air conditioned apartment is set in the beautiful coastal resort of Playa Flamenca We are situated just 10 minutes from the bustling town of Torrevieja with its abundance of shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife and no more than 20 minutes transfer by car from Murcia Airport and 40 minutes transfer by car from Alicante Airport. This area of the Costa Blanca is much sought after, benefiting from a number of blue flag sandy beaches, some within walking distance and a sunny climate boasting over 300 days of sunshine per year. Should you prefer to relax closer to home we have 2 communal swimming pools within the grounds of the apartment. Our apartment is ideally located just across the road from the bustling commercial centre of Playa Flamenca, providing possibly the widest selection of food available to include, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Hungarian and of course Spanish.Our apartment is located on the 1st floor in a block and there is ramp access for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The accommodation has 2 good size bedrooms, both air-conditioned and 2 bathrooms located at opposite ends of the apartment, affording that extra bit of privacy. The master bedroom includes a double bed, chest of drawers and en suite shower room. A large family bathroom services the twin bedroom which includes both a bath and overhead shower. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes, ceiling fans and external window shutters.Plus air conditioning/heating The apartment also benefits from a fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, toaster and for all that local beer, wine and sangria, a roomy fridge freezer. The lounge/diner is tastefully furnished with two comfy sofas and a table and chairs.A 37 inch plasma TV provides satellite television along with a DVD player and a selection of family films to keep the children amused. A docking station to play and charge your ipod is also provided. The lounge leads out onto a balcony equipped with a table and chairs just right for breakfast in the morning sunshine or maybe you prefer to watch the sunset over a jug of sangria. On the roof of the apartment block is a large communal solarium, which provides some stunning views of the local area. This area can also be used for some serious sunbathing.The old Spanish town of Torrevieja is about 10 minutes drive away by car and offers further choices of day time or evening entertainment. A sea front stroll is worth a visit any time of day. With a fun fair, harbour, marina, evening market and many bars and restaurants to suit all tastes Torrevieja offers a great choice for everyone. Local attractions include an aqua park. If you enjoy a round of golf then we are perfectly situated close to three well established championship golf courses that are located within a ten minute drive at Villa Martin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas. Just over 5 minutes walk will take you to Flamenca Beach itself and at present a new promenade is being built that will link up all the beaches on the Orihuela Coast. Our apartment is ideally located to visit the beaches at Punta Prima, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Cala Captain.We have taken every care to provide you with a Spanish home from home in our apartment and to assist you we have provided a folder of information at the apartment giving details of areas we have explored ourselves together with road maps to make getting around easier. Car hire is straight forward and can be arranged through the airport or locally. We do have an arrangement with a local English agent who can provide an excellent personal pick up and drop off service from either Murcia or Alicante. They are also on hand should you require any details with regard to places to visit etc. We are sorry we are unable to accept pets and are strictly a non-smoking apartment.We are confident that you will enjoy a wonderful holiday in this delightful part of Spain.
