Casa Ianda provides Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a stunning country location just 20 minutes drive from the beaches of the eastern Costa del Sol and a similar distance to the 2 main Andalucian motorways. All the advantages of a beach or sightseeing holiday with the tranquility of a country / mountain setting so you can totally unwind and ´chill out´ as you relax by the swimming pool. Situated in the Axarquia region of Andalucia just 200m above Lake Vinuela, facing Mount Maroma across the lake and 3 km below the traditional village of Los Romanes, Casa Ianda is a detached villa with 2 en suite Guest rooms and a private Swimming Pool. The villa is situated in a small residential development and provides accommodation for up to 6 people. Surrounded by 3 National Parks, this is an area of outstanding natural beauty - a walkers and nature lovers paradise! Within a few minutes drive are villages full of history and charm, the coast/beach is only 20 minutes drive away at Torre del Mar and all the major sites of Andalucia can be visited on day excursions. Our 3 closest villages - Los Romanes, La Viñuela + Puente Don Manuel - are only 5-10 minutes drive away and provide good dining in several restaurants and bars. Airport transfers - Malaga 50 minutes, Granada 80 minutes. We have 2 GUEST ROOMS both with En Suite Bathrooms. Both rooms are situated at Pool level and Guests have unlimitesd use of the pool from dawn to dusk. Access to the rooms is via a flight of 19 outdoor steps so the accommodation is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Each room has private access via the pool terrace so Guests do not have to come through the main house and can come and go as they please. MOON ROOM - 11m2 - 2 people. A small, but comfortable, room with Double Bed, full bedroom suite, ceiling fan, fridge/honesty bar, coffee table with complimentary Tea + Coffee making facilities, hairdryer etc. The en suite Bathroom has a shower, toilet and wash basin. Complimentary bottles of Mineral Water and Toiletries are provided. 2 people - €45 per night. SUN ROOM - 25.5m2 - 2-4 people. A spacious room with all the same facilies as the Moon Room but has Twin Beds - generally pushed together to make a large double bed but can be separate on request - and a dining table and 4 chairs. Two single ´Z´ Beds can be provided for a third or fourth person on request. 2 people - €55 per night. 3rd or 4th person - €15 per night. BREAKFAST - Our Room price includes your choice of our extensive Buffet Breakfast or cooked English Breakfast (Meat or Vegetarian). DINNER is available on request:- A la Carte Dinner - 3 course meal with Wine - €18 per person. Childrens Menu - A la Carte 2 course meal with a Drink - €5.00 per child. Vegetarian menu also available. SNACKS, TAPAS AND DRINKS are available all day. CAR Unlike most Campo properties, access to Casa Ianda is via a fully tarmaced road - no rough tracks! - and safe parking is available on our driveway. Car hire is essential. All in all, Casa Ianda provides the ideal base for your Andalucian holiday and Brenda and Ian will go out of their way to make your time here special.

We are in the heart of the Axarquia region of Malaga Province, 15 kilometers inland from Torre del Mar on the coast of the eastern Costa del Sol. Within a 7 minutes drive are the traditional villages of Los Romanes, La Vinuela and Puente Don Manuel.

From Malaga Airport take the A7/E15 motorway east in the direction of Motril and Almeria. After 25 minutes come off at Exit 272 for Velez Malaga and access the A356 in the direction of Colmenar. After 15 minutes you will see the lake on your right. Cross the dam and take the first turning left for Los Romanes - a funny little turning where you have to first go right to turn left. After just 400 meters/2 minutes driving time you will see a sign on your left for El Mirador del Embalse. Turn up here and we are the 4th house.
