Built and furnished in the traditional style, with beams throughout and all on one level, our spacious villa offers the best of both worlds - close to beautiful beaches and facilities yet far enough to get away from it all and enjoy peace and quiet by the pool. Set among large villas in an exclusive residental area, on the slopes of the hills overlooking Altea, this comfortable detached villa, being level throughout, is TOTALLY WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE and enjoys wonderful views of the sea and mountains from it's own private pool, wide sunny terrace and surrounding mature gardens. The spacious master bedroom is arranged as a suite, with a king size bed, opening directly into the sun lounge then through to the pool. The ensuite bathroom is very large, furnished with an adapted vanity unit and has an open walk- in shower accessible for wheelchairs plus a shower chair if required for our disabled guests. The two further bedrooms are furnished with two single beds and one double bed respectively, the double room has a wash basin. These rooms are served by the newly renovated family bathroom, fully tiled and with vanity unit, bath and shower. Recent improvements include the new bathrooms, extentions to the living areas and brand new double glazing throughout. New terracing and pathways to the BBQ area ensure level access for all our guests, including wheelchair users. The refurbishments to the spacious living areas have enlarged the wide sun lounge which opens on to the pool, offering alternative living space, ideal for the children or relaxing on cooler days. The sun can be enjoyed all day from the many outdoor areas of the property, the large pool terrace and the secluded and shaded BBQ area set in the colourful mature gardens. Our villa offers everything for an enjoyable holiday, only 45 mins from Alicante airport and just a short drive to the lively Spanish town of Altea, with its palm lined walkways, fishing port, marina and waterfront restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The Old Town itself is full of character with its winding cobbled streets and renowned church square, where you can join the locals parading in the evenings or just sit and soak up the atmosphere. There are several beautiful beaches close by, the nearest being Albir beach, clean and well maintained with plenty of water sports and sun loungers available. Albir has a truly continental atmosphere with facilities all year round. Benidorm (15 mins drive) offers alternative activities and nightlife, Aqualandia Water park, Terra Mitica and Natura Theme Parks and a Dolphinarium nearby. Shopping facilities are numerous, with supermarkets and bustling weekly street markets in both Altea and the local town of Alfaz, just 5 minutes drive. This lesser known, quieter part of the coast is unspoilt in comparison to many areas and ideal for those seeking a relaxed and peaceful holiday. Scenically very picturesque with it's backdrop of the Sierra Bernia mountains, there are endless activities including golf, tennis, horse riding, mountain biking as well as various water sports readily available Our villa also benefits from being within walking distance of beautiful orange a olive groves and mountain paths. A car is highly recommended to thoroughly appreciate this unspoilt scenic area. Transfers are available from the airport, combined with car rental delivered to the villa if required and local taxis always available. For our wheelchair guests, for your stay at the villa airport transfers and hire of an adapted vehicle with driver can be arranged at reasonable cost. Should you require local assistance or information such as car hire, booking sports facilities, advice on restaurants, local medical facilities etc, we can offer a contact to provide these services, either before or during your stay. Private and peacefully situated in an area of Spain less spoilt than many our villa is close to beautiful beaches and convenient to all facilities. Altea, a vibrant hilltop town full of character is less than 10 mins away and Benidorm with alternative attractions, just 15mins by car. The area in general is recognised as one of the healthiest in Spain, enjoying mild winter temperatures and surrounded by wonderful and accessible mountain scenery.

North of Alicante and approximately 45 minutes drive by motorway from Alicante airport.

Arrival time normally in the afternoons but flexible if we are notified previously. Change over days Saturdays in peak times but alternative days can be arranged.

Our rental prices are fully inclusive of all water and electricity, full cleaning, maintenance of pool and garden and fresh linen and towels changed weekly. Possible surcharge for winter heating. Our local representatives are available for advice during your stay. A welcome bottle of wine and a meet and greet service helps start your holiday!
