Excellent rented Spanish accommodation, just 50 minutes from Malaga Airport. This private villa, with large grounds and private pool, nestles in the hills below the Sierra Tejeda Nature Reserve looking up at Mount Maroma.It sleeps 6 and offers 3 spacious bedrooms all with large built-in wardrobes.It is a simple country house but is tastefully furnished and well equipped. The sitting room, with open fire, has a stereo CD/radio. There are lots of books (including Andalucian cookery) and a variety of games. There is an information file and another with a complete collection of walks in this area of Andalucia. The dining area, with a large table and seating for 6 has sliding doors to the kitchen. READ ON: if you are interested in having a break from your normal hectic lifestyle and enjoying a simple holiday. We direct kitchen and roof water to the land and have chosen not to have TV. DVD. video, internet,phone or unnecessary high energy kitchen appliances. READ NO FURTHER: if you want an all singing all dancing luxury villa with central AC / heating, TV, DVD. internet, state of the art kitchen with washer, dryer, dishwasher etc. We have aimed to keep the villa simple. What we want to offer is a simple, relaxing time away from home. Outside, are terraces with tables, chairs, sun-loungers and pool- side barbeque, a cultivated area of garden, and about 2 acres of natural land. Canillas de Aceituno, an old, hillside white-washed village, has Moorish features and is full of charm and character. It has local shops, bars, restaurants and even a disco! If you wish to do some sight-seeing, then it is conveniently located for visiting the wonderful caves at Nerja, the Alhambra Palace in Granada, the hot springs at Alhama de Granada and nearby lake at Bermejeles, the flamingos of Fuente de las Piedras, Ronda, Seville and even skiing in the Sierra Nevada or dolphin spotting in Gibraltar. This villa is suitable for families and couples who will appreciate the tranquillity and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. But there is also a wide range of activities nearby for all of the family, including all the opportunities offered at the coast: scuba diving, pedalos, wind-surfing,kite surfing, para- gliding, jet-ski, fishing, etc. A water-park, go-karting, golf, tennis and riding are also less than 30 mins away as are the multiplex cinema, and modern shopping mall with hypermarket, department store, fashion, sport and shoe shops, home-stores, bars and restaurants. You can also arrange accompanied mountain and gorge walking, mountain biking, and a variety of adventurous activities. At Bajo La Maroma, there is something for everyone!
