South facing 3 bedroom quad style home on the outskirts of the quiet village of Daya Vieja. Approximately 30 minutes from Alicante and Murcia airports. Daya Vieja is a quiet rural town of great traditions. It is inland of Guardamar del Segura on the south Costa Blanca. The Costa Blanca has its own micro-climate which means that even in winter the temperature doesn�t drop below 16 degrees. Within a 5 minute walk of the house is Daya Vieja town centre where there are a few shops, restaurants, bars, a bakery and a pharmacy. It is only a short drive to the towns of Benijofar, Rojales, Ciudad Quesada, Dolores and Almoradi where there are supermarkets, shops, bars and international restaurants. There are numerous beaches near the house, 2 that are recommended are at Guardamar and La Marina. The lively town of Torrevieja is a 15 minute drive away and has good restaurants, bars and nightlife to enjoy. Daya Vieja is 30 minutes south of the cosmopolitan Alicante, a beautiful city full of history and wonderful architecture. Alicante airport is to the south side of Alicante and transfer takes approx. 30 mins. If your preference is golf, La Finca is just a 10 minute drive away. The course is in a beautiful natural setting with established trees and lakes. La Marquesa is another superb course within a 10 minute drive, and Real Campoamor (championship course), Villamartin, and Las Ramblas are only 20 minutes drive away. Just a couple of hours away are the Sierra Nevada mountains, the second highest mountain range in Europe. As a largely unknown area for skiing the slopes are predominantly populated with locals and virgin snow. With its close proximity to the Mediterranean, you can spend the morning skiing and the afternoon recovering on the beach! The villa is laid out over 2 floors, plus a rooftop solarium, all fully tiled. There is an open plan lounge dining area on the ground floor with plenty of space. Furniture includes a wrap-around 4 seater sofa, a pine dining table with 4 chairs, and pine storage units. There is also tv and a dvd player. Fans are provided in the main living areas and all bedrooms. Security features include door and window grills. The main bedroom (on the first floor) has a double bed, ample built in wardrobes with plenty of hanging and shelf space. Patio doors lead to a large balcony. Bedroom 2 on the first floor has a fan, 2 single beds and a built in wardrobe, with hanging and shelf space. Bedroom 3 on the ground floor has 2 single beds and a chest of drawers. In terms of outside space, there is a large solarium on the roof with 2 sun loungers, and a patio table and chairs. In addition, there is a large balcony leading off from the main bedroom, and a terrace on the ground floor with a table and chairs. Also on the ground floor is garden with off-road parking. The first floor bathroom has a bath/shower, w.c., bidet and wash basin. The ground floor shower room has a shower, w.c. and wash basin. Nearby there is a communal pool with plenty of room for sunbathing. A childrens play area with seating is also nearby. Linen and bathroom towels are provided but you will need to take your own beach towels. A cleaning charge of 60 euros is payable locally on collection of the key. Booking deposit �100. Balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to holiday. Refundable damage deposit �100. Discount available for long winter lets.
