Mi Joya is a ‘jewel’ of a holiday home in the mountain village of Montejaque, an ideal setting for nature-lovers. The house has three terraces, from all of which you can enjoy the amazing views over the neighbouring Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. Mi Joya has a large entrance hall/dining room, a wide, light living room and three comfortable bedrooms. The downstairs master bedroom, with double bed, has an en-suite bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin, plus fitted wardrobes. The two twin bedrooms (also with wardrobes), plus a second bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin, are located off the upstairs living room. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. From the modern kitchen (with fridge-freezer, stove, convection-microwave) you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner on the partially covered patio with table and chairs for six. Off the living room is a small sitting area where you can enjoy ‘sun-downers’ overlooking Mount Tavizna. And the roof terrace, with its comfortable seating and three sun-loungers, can accommodate up to eight. Summer clients at Mi Joya can use the semi-private swimming pool only 5 minutes’ walk from the house, at ‘La Posada’ which is managed by our agent, Cristobal Calle Jimenez. Cristobal will meet you on your arrival in Montejaque and show you to the house. It is possible to park your car within 50 metres of the steps leading up to Mi Joya. The living room and bedrooms all have televisions, plus a DVD player in the living room. A wood-burning stove and radiators make the house comfortable, even on cool evenings in the mountains (Oct. through Feb.). We provide clients with a map of the Montejaque streets, showing the location of the banks, pharmacy, doctor, the bakery and numerous small shops, tapas bars and restaurants in this beautiful ‘pueblo blanco’.
