Much has been written about Javea, it's charming historic town, more hours of sunshine recorded here than anywhere else in Spain, ideal climate according to UNESCO, and then not least the imposing El Montgo mountain which from certain angles looks like a sleeping elephant. But in the end we can only suggest you visit Javea yourself to find out first hand about this jewel of the Costa Blanca.

Set in a quiet countryside location under the Montgo, Casa Guarida affords glorious views out over the valley. This very finca style accommodation is set in Mediterranean gardens with ample patios and catches the sun all day through.As you enter the property you cannot help but be impressed with the real home from home feeling and lovely ambience that this villa portrays. It has been the owners personal home for the past 10 years and it has only been rented out for holiday makers for a short period each year. The villa is reached through a comfortably furnished enclosed “naya”, an ideal venue for sitting and reading in the spring and autumn months and pl. The lounge/dining room with beamed ceiling is a real home from home. The furnishings are excellent and there is a satellite TV for your added enjoyment and leading off from the lounge also is a separate cosy study. There is also a shower room with WC located on this level. The modern well fitted kitchen comes complete with microwave and washing machine.

Stairs lead to the first floor and the master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and patio doors to the roof terrace, affording those panoramic views. There is also a further pretty twin bedroom and a sinFurther details outdoors:

The kitchen patio is shaded by a spectacular bougainvillaea and is ideal for those meals al-fresco. The restaurants and shops of Javea´s historic town centre are just a short drive away which makes this an ideal location for the smaller family or a romantic get away for those looking for some privacy. Javea´s historic old town and attractive fishing port are just a short drive away. A little further on you will
reach the beautiful sandy Arenal beach. Also here you will find a variety of shops, restaurants, bars and night entertainment.

There is a wide variety of sporting facilities available locally including golf, tennis, water sports, diving, sailing, horse-riding, etc. Excellent hiking trails of varying length and difficulty for the keen hill walkers. For the kids: Many play areas at the beach, The Safari Animal Park, Benidoleig Caves, Terra Mitica Theme Park, Aqualandia Water Park, Mundomar are all within 40 minutes drive. Valencias impressive City of Arts and Sciences has the Europes largest Marine Park housing over 45,000 animals of 500 different species in the numerous underground aquariums. Take time for a day trip inland to visit mountain villages and to enjoy the fantastic countryside and beautiful views of Northern Costa Blanca.
