Location / Outdoor: Set amid the world famous wine growing region of the Alt Penedès, near Barcelona and the beaches of the Costa Brava, this romantic, historic estate from the 18th Century, surrounded by its own vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees. The wonderfully restored mansion with two separate detached houses perched above the plain, offers stunning views from the house, the garden and the large communal pool terrace with sun loungers and parasols. In the private gravel garden with pergola, barbecue and garden furniture adults and children can relax. Another common garden with palm trees, seating and play areas is also available. We rent out the smaller house for up to 6 persons, on request also the larger part of the house (Cal Joaquim) for up to 8 people can be rented. Both houses together are ideal for larger groups or families. Although in the region revolves around the vineyard, it is with its rolling hills ideal for hiking and biking.
Facility: A very charming renovated house! The historic elements such as wooden beams, stone walls and terracotta floors have been maintained and decorated with modern conveniences added. The ground floor is entered through the imposing front door. There is the spacious, comfortable living room with sitting area, fireplace, TV, Wi-Fi, as well as the well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, gas stove, oven and large fridge-freezer. In a small side room is the washing machine, a shower is also available. In the first floor there are 3 bedrooms (1 with double bed, two with two beds) and a bath. Through a chimney system, the house can be heated very well, even on cooler days. In the rear part of the building there is a large communal games room with table tennis, various games and a dartboard.
