Villa in Javea Description
This traditionally styled modern Spanish villa resides in the peaceful residential district of Costa Nova just 5 minutes drive from the sandy Arenal beach and 5 minutes walk to the nearest restaurantes and shop. Located on the pine covered plateau overlooking Javea, the villa is ideally located for leisurely walks or cycle rides to unwind after a day on the beach.
Built on a single level with no steps, baring a flight of 8 steps which descend from the terrace to an expansive back garden (1200m2) with private fenced pool, the property provides an ideal haven for families and adults of all ages.
The villa accommodates 6 in 3 bedrooms: 2 doubles and 1 twin, each with fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans. There is a main bathroom with shower, hand basin, WC and bidet, and a separate shower room with purpose built walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin. The modern fitted kitchen is equipped with all the mod cons, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils you would expect. A cot and high chair are available on request.
The lounge with traditional terracotta floor and fireplace has satellite TV for UK, French and other free to air channels, a DVD and spacious sofas on which to relax. Double glazed French sliding doors lead out onto the Naya and open terrace which overlook the pool and back garden - ideal for those who want to relax on the cane furniture in the Naya or catch some sun, without losing contact with those in the villa.
Take advantage of the terrace BBQ to enjoy alfresco meals over looking the garden and pool.
The 10x5m private pool with roman steps and its sun loungers is an ideal sun trap with welcome shade provided by the palm tree. Although no pool is totally safe a perimeter fence provides extra security for young children while the 2-3m hedge surrounding the garden ensures privacy.
There is parking in the driveway for up to two cars.
The price includes fresh linen and towels (not beach). For those wishing to stay during the winter months Costa Nova is a well established residential area with many permanent and winter residents. Located close to the National Park of Cumbre Del Sol, the area is surrounded by pinewoods providing a variety of walks in the area, with magnificent views of the Bay of Javea within a couple of hundred metres of the property.
The villa is oriented South, has gas central heating and is double glazed through out. The naya converts into a very agreeable veranda. Preferential rates are offered for winter lets exceeding 2 weeks.
There are restaurants, bars, shop and tennis courts close by while the old town of Javea and the Arenal beach are just 5 minutes by car. The old town of Javea retains much of its Spanish character with narrow streets lined with whitewashed houses, dating back to the 16th Century. Javea Port has a bustling marina where local fishing vessels land their catches daily and the Arenal area has a beautiful sandy beach, fringed by the promenade with a wonderful choice of bars and restaurants.
