Townhouse in Almunecar Beschreibung
La Rijana, a small community of 14 family houses, is entered through a remote controlled gate. The house is suitable for quiet couples and families but not for groups of partygoers. All guests must agree to abide by the rules of the residential community. Our 2-storey house, comprises 3 bedrooms, 1 double, and 2 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. All bedrooms have sea view. The house is well located next to the communal pool. La Rijana community sits on top of a headland, just below an ancient Moorish tower. It looks out over the sea from the bay of Motril, past the rocks of San Cristobal in Almunecar to Punta de la Mona.The sitting room is comfortably furnished with leather sofas and is equipped with TV, dvd, music system that will play cassettes, cds and radio, books, games and information and instruction files. The glass dining table seats 6. The kitchen is well equippped with a cooker, a combination microwave, a large fridge- freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster. There is ample cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils and plastic glasses and plates for outdoors.Almunecar boasts many of its own beaches.From the windows and terrace, you can watch sunrise and sunset, follow the fishing boats and at certain times of year, spot dolphins just off the coast.A little east of Almuñecar, lies Salobreña, the old part of which is built on an outcrop of rock and topped by an impressive castle. Beyond this is the interesting Spanish town of Motril. Heading north from Motril you will find Granada, just an hour from Almunecar. This was the last capital of the Moorish kings and is well worth a visit, not only for the marvellous Alhambra but also for the many other places of interest within the city.The Costa Tropical, running from Nerja to Motril, is characterised by rugged cliffs falling to the sea and a sub-tropical climate that encourages the growth of chirimoyas (custard apple), avocados, mangoes and bananas. You will find that Almunecar is an all year round location, ideal for sea, and ski. The fascinating Granada, the last Moorish stronghold, with the fabulous Alhambra Palace and Sierra Nevada sliing, is just an hour away. In the area of Almunecar, as you can see, you will always find something to do. The location of La Rijana, means that you can combine the tranquillity of gazing across the blue of the Mediterranean with the convenience of being only minutes from the centre of a vibrant Spanish town. You can explore the coastal towns and more remote beaches or head inland to the mountains. And remember the wonderful city of Granada with world renowned Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada ski resort is just an hour away.
