This delightful rustic villa is conveniently located just 10 minutes drive from the pretty hillside village of Competa, known locally as the "pearl of the Axarquia". Visually stunning the villa seems almost luminescent against the backdrop of the Sierra Almijara mountains. The villa sits in a 3,000 meter plot with newly planted lemon and almond trees sharing the vista with the ancient olive trees. It is located 20 meters down a private concrete drive, just 2 minutes walk from the "Pavo Real Restaurant" just off the Torrox to Competa road. The villa is south facing with two terraces and a delightful shaded veranda. The views are simply stunning from all around the property. The upper terrace has a planted area with a wonderful old olive tree and traditional terracotta sun terracing surrounding the kidney shaped swimming pool ( the pool is very deep) A large BBQ, and ample sun lounges, two very large sun parasols, and teak dining furniture are all provided for your enjoyment. The lower terrace is tiled with terracotta tiles, planted with young fruit trees, and makes a delightfully peaceful sun terrace.The accommodations consists of 3 double bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large living / dining area with a fully fitted kitchen and seperate utility room. The master bedroom, which is south facing with wonderful views, has a double bed, two double wardrobes, two bedside tables with lamps, and a large chest of drawers. An en-suite shower is attached to this room, with walk in corner shower, wash hand basin and w.c. The second and third bedrooms have twin beds, double wardrobes, bedside tables and plenty of drawer space. There is a large family bathroom with a full size bath, thermostatic shower, wc, bidet and vanity unit. The Lounge / Diner is over 30 foot in length, with a fully working traditional Andalucian fireplace. There are two sofas and a coffee table, a side board with a large TV and Sky satelite system ( Free to view channels only) and dvd with a large selection of free films. There is a six person pine dining table with chairs, a hi-fi system with CD player and a selection of music CD's. The kitchen is accessed off the dining area, it is a wooden fully fitted kitchen with integrated fridge freezer, oven and electric hob, double bowl sink and plenty over storage cupboards. it also has a breakfast / serving bar leading to the dining area. There is a full compliment of crockery, pots, pans, utensils, etc as you would expect in a working kitchen, a microwave, electric toaster and kettle together with a cafetiere are all provided for your use. The area around the villa is beautiful andalusian countryside, with many spectacular views from the terrace. There are plenty of stunning walks into the andalucian countrside accessible from the property and a number of walking books, guides are available in the villa. The pretty seaside town of Torre Del Mar is within 20 minutes drive, this is a traditional "Spanish" resort unspoilt by the high rise development of other "Costa" towns. The more well known resort of Nerja is reached with a 30 minute drive from the villa. Malaga, with its multitude of shopping opportunities and delightful winding streets is only a 45 minute drive from the villa. There is a large bar / restaurant, called the Pavo Real, situated three minutes walk form the villa. The beautiful village of Competa with its delightful village square and traditional tapas bars and restaurants is a ten minute drive.

Arrivals to the villa will be met by our villa manager at the agreed location. Access to the villa will be from 16:00 on the day of arrival. Departures must be by 10:00 unless previously agreed. A Welcome pack consisting of bread,mik,water,butter,orange juice,large bottle of beer and a bottle of wine are provided free of charge.
