Totally refurbished to a high standard, it offers spacious accommodation over two floors, with two large living rooms -one on each floor, and can sleep a further two people using the sofa bed. The upper floor L-shaped living room gives onto terraces providing sun and shade and overlooks the pool, the Mediterranean and the Illes Medes. The lower level living room gives onto the pool area.

All year round, within a few minutes drive of the villa you can enjoy the rugged coastline, unspoilt fishing villages and beaches - Sa Riera, Sa Tuna, Tamariu, Llafranc, Calella; medieval villages and towns-Pals, Peratallada. Begur, only 5 minutes drive away has characterful shops, cafes, restaurants.

There is something for everyone all year round in this area described as the jewel of the Costa Brava: relaxing in the villa, by the pool or one of the many varied unspoilt beaches with waterfront cafes and restaurants (Sa Riera only 5 mins drive, Sa Tuna, Aiguafreda, Tamariu, Calella, Aiguablava, Llafranc all only 10 - 15 minutes drive); spectacular coastal and rural walks, water sports, renowned marine reserves (Ses Negres, Illes Medes) and fantastic scuba diving (15 mins), several golf courses (2 championship) within 15 mins; superb tennis clubs; cycling; riding; daily markets held each day of the week in a different nearby village or town; cafes, shops, superb restaurants either by the sea or in charming medieval towns and villages inland (characterful Begur with quaint alleys, boutiques, cafes, restaurants 5 mins drive, Peratallada, Pals, Palafrugell within 10 - 15 mins drive); day trips to Girona, Barcelona, and the Pyrenees; Dali museums at Figueres, Cadaques and Pubol; ceramics and pottery shops at La Bisbal.

"Casa Mirador was certainly an inspired choice. Nothing prepared us for the fabulous views and generous accommodation. With lots of different seating and relaxing corners to choose from, inside and out, - not to mention the ping pong table and swimming pool - there really is little need to venture beyond the garden gate. But of course you do. The go karts were very popular with some but I think my favourite place is Pals with its winding streets, inviting shops and amazing views from the top of the hill. Added to the good levels of maintenance of villa itself, the excellent service provided by the owner from the very first contact greatly enhanced the holiday for us. She really seems to want her guests to have a first class experience and goes out of her way to ensure this happens. Thank you for a great way to celebrate a sixtieth birthday."
