Farmhouse in Ronda Beschreibung
El Aguardentero was a traditional farmland on 11.5 hectares in The Gudalcobacin valley, surrounded by Grazalema's mountains and fed by natural springs. Like the rest of the surrounding land it was covered with olive groves. The estate also contained several outhouses to store agricultural equipment and livestock. Today only the vegetable gardens and the orchards exist.

The House : The current house was built on the estate the beginning of the 20th century. It is of traditional construction with thick walls. It has two floors: the ground floor has a foyer, lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and storage area while the first floor contains five bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms. The house retains the original marble staircase leading to the first floor, the blue Sevillana tiles in the lounge and the fireplace of white marble.

The Garden :A historic garden of centuries old groves and hedges fronts the house. The hedges are full of boxwood and jazmin. Magnolia, orange, walnut, oleander, quince, pear, pomegranate, and fig trees provide fruit all year round. Additional meadows, an avenue of palm trees, birds and water create a very special oasis and microclimate. An avenue of palm trees leads to the swimming pool and the gardens.

The centuries old garden is an extention of the house giving it total peace where the only sounds breaking the silence are birdsong. Cultural trips :The ancient Roman city of Acinipo, currently being archaeologically excavated, is only 10 minutes drive from the estate. One of the most beautiful and visited towns in Spain, Ronda, is only 10 minutes drive away. Magnificant beaches, golf and various other activities can be enjoyed at the Costa del Sol (Mediterranean) , Costa del Luz or Costa de Huelva (Atlantic ocean).

Coast / Beach :The nearest beaches of San Pedro and Marbella are only one hour drive (south, Costa del Sol) and are full of bars and excellent restaurants. The fabulous beaches on the Atlantic coast of Cadiz and Huelva (west, Costa del Luz) can be accessed within one and a half to three hours. Golf :The nearest golf courses are on the Costa del Sol (San Pedro, Marbella) an hour's drive by car. Swimming Pool :An avenue of palm trees leads to the elevated swimming pool allowing. panoramic vistas of the surrounding land and mountains.

The rooms are of ample size and attractively decorated. The mattresses are of the highest quality as well as the beddings. All 5 baths are lined with attractive tiles. The pressure in the showers is excellent. The wash basins are made of porcelain with ample space for toiletries. The kitchen is decorated in country style and comes fully equipped with an electric oven and vitro ceramic range, an ancient marble double sink, dishwasher and refrigerator. It is stocked with attractive china, pots and frying pans, as well as blender, mixer, coffee machine and toaster.

Payment Policy
All rates are in Euros.

Cots are available for an additional 50 € per week.

Please note : The prices are per week in euros. Upon booking, 25% of the total cost should bedeposited in our bank account. The balance should be deposited 2 months before occupancy.

For two or more weeks of rental in the winter months there is a discount of 5%. For longer stays a higher discount can be offered.

A deposit of 25 % of the weekly rent is required for the reservation. The remaining balance is to be paid two months before occupancy. The payment is in Euros into a bank account. A security deposit is not necessary since we prefer to employ an honor system, asking guests to notify us if something breaks or gets damaged.
