Near the picturesque lake and village of Iznajar, less than an hour from Granada and Malaga and surrounded by hills and olive groves, El Molino del Conde is a traditional white Andalucian mill building set in 3 acres of land bordered by a stream and planted with pomegranate, walnut and fig trees.

El Molino del Conde can be rented as a big country villa - perfect if you´re travelling with friends or family - or as a separate house or apartment suitable for families or couples.As a large house with big grounds, El Molino del Conde offers flexible accommodation which we can help to tailor to your needs.You´ll find fresh eggs from our chickens and fresh herbs from the kitchen garden.

Outside there are sun terraces, dining areas, picnic spots next to the stream, a shady courtyard with fountain and 3 acres of land where children can run around safely.

New for 2011 is a multi-sports court in the gardens - a 3/4 size tennis court also suitable for badminton and volleyball.

Children are very welcome at El Molino - in particular we offer a 10 percent discount to families with children under the age of 5. Cots, toys, books, high chairs and babysitting are all readily available .... let us know what else you need!

Children spend their days playing on the swing by the stream, or in the sandpit, feeding our chickens, ducks and rabbit and splashing about in the swimming pool.

Day trips include visits to the seaside, various local castles and seemingly endless local festivals! Children are also made very welcome at the local restaurants and bars.As well as relaxing by the swimming pool or stream at El Molino, we have a petanque area (the Spanish version of the French boules) and can set up badminton, volleyball etc on request. We also have table tennis and table football. Locally available are horse riding, cycling and walking.

A little further afield, the Sierra Nevada is only 90 minutes away where there´s skiing from late December until Easter.

By car, El Molino is 45 minutes north of Malaga and 45 minutes west of Granada.

Seville, Cordoba, Ronda, the beaches of the south coast and several National Parks are all easily accessible for day-trips on good motorway connections.
