Casa de Flores has a one-bedroom apartment upstairs and a two-bedroom apartment downstairs. The Moroccan influence in the décor makes this house colourful and vibrant.

Apartment Mimosa: (1 double room) has a log-burning stove for cooler winter nights and a beautiful balcony/terrace to enjoy the sunshine. There is an en-suite bathroom, a large living/dining room and kitchen.

Apartment Bougainvillea: (1 double room, 1 twin room) is a spacious apartment for four, which also has a log-burning stove to warm up the living room and dining room, which have views to Morocco. There is a spacious bathroom, additional shower room, comfortable living room and dining room and a kitchen. There is a terrace garden with a shaded sitting area to eat out in.

These apartments can be rented separately or together. These apartment both have use of a lovely plunge pool in which you can cool off after a hard days exploring or sun bathing. Both apartments have shared use of a washing machine. All linen and bath towels are provided. Cot available on request. Fuel for log-burners not provided but can be arranged. We have a friendly, helpful local manager who can help you with anything you need.

Casa de Flores can be found in the tranquil village of Gaucin in Andalucia, about 25 minutes drive from the South Coast of Spain. Gaucin has a great deal to offer a visitor from stunning scenery and fantastic walks to top class restaurants and lively tapas bars. With breathtaking views to the Mediterranean and The Rif Mountains in Morocco this is a place of peace and relaxation. It can also be used as a base to explore the beauty and excitement of Andalucia.

The village is dominated by the Castillo Del Aguilla, which dates back to pre-Arabic times. You can explore the castle or take fantastic walks along old smugglers' routes. Local caves with Palaeolithic painting add interest and excitement to a day out. If the active lifestyle is not to your fancy why not take some time out and book a massage with one of the local therapists or take a dip at the nearby healing Roman baths. The beaches of the South coast are easy to get to within 25 mins and the more rural beaches on the West coast are only 1 hours drive.
