One of the oldest dive schools is Indalo Divers situated behind La Gaviota restaurant on the coast road.

Golf : Almeria has at the moment 8 golf coures and if you believe the rumors a few in the planning stage. The closest course is Marina Playa on the coast road to Garrucha. A shorte 9 hole course is also nearby at Cortijo Grande. With Valle de Este and Desert Springs just a short drive away it is an ideal place for golfers.
