You may hike on the ancient Roman Road in nearby green hills , climb in Picos mountains, kiyak or fish in Sella or Deva rivers. Browse the markets for the freshest produce, local cheeses and cured hams, sausages. There are wonderful little restaurants in the region noted for the excellent seafood and meats. Explore prehistoric caves with wall paintings. The young people will love the superb aquarium in Santander or the nearby safari park. There is a wonderful golf course in Santa Marina and in Oyambre.The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is a 45 min. drive away. Or just relax and sip a local sherry in the little cafe in our own village, Hualle.
