The Hotel Arbe, located over the Bay of Arbe, is a modern hotel featuring avant-garde design and painstakingly designed décor. The orientation of the building, designed by architect Alejandro Arróspide, was envisioned so that the large picture window in each room gives the sense of literally being over the Cantabrian Sea…

A novel design that harnesses the geothermal energy through holes dug more than 80 metres deep. From there, a network was created that extends from the subsoil to the entire building complex. The system takes advantage of the temperature that starting ten metres down is totally stable all year round and provides air conditioning in summer and heating in winter.
