Our apartment is next to La Ribera del Marco, a magnificent natural setting that has many things to talk about the origin and history of the city of Caceres. Its river, its gardens and its mills are elements that have been decisive in the evolution of this city. Route is a must for travelers who pass by the ancient Via de la Plata.Very near here you can visit some important reminders of the history Caceres as Interpretation Centre Maltravieso Caves (Upper Paleolithic) and the Convento de San Francisco (XV century), which is now the Cultural Complex. The apartment is located in the neighborhood of the Holy Spirit, near the old chapel that bears its name, the Mudejar style, the oldest in the city.

It is a quiet area, ideal to relax and forget about urban problems (you will rise with the birds singing.) Also you can leave your car safely. Surroundings invite contemplation, to stop and enjoy the scenery. And that is the Sierra de la Mosca is at sight, as the Shrine of Our Lady of the Mountain. And the scope of our feet, the historic downtown of Cáceres, declared World Heritage by UNESCO, which is just 15 minute stroll. If you find any difficulty to find some landmarks nearby and are easy to locate the new courts, the San Pedro de Alcántara Hospital Complex or San Francisco.
