Our inn, our posada, the Posada San Telmo (category: Rural lodging in Northern Spain) is a typical Cantabrian manor house form the XVII century, completely restored -inaugurated back in 1998-, located in the coastal village of Ubiarco, 5 kms. distant from Suances, Santillana del Mar, the renowned Altamira Caves and the splendid Museum of Altamira; and 0,5 kms. from the beach of Santa Justa, where we can find the Tower of San Telmo (high up above the cliffs) and the fascinating Cave Shrine of Santa Justa, half hidden between the rocks of a high cliff in the shape of an arch.

The Posada San Telmo shows a detailed traditional decoration on its outside spaces, built on both normal and masonry stones, solid brick, old clay roof tiles, slabs of slate and fine woods. Curiously enough, all these materials were already in the house, though the most surprising thing was the abundance of stone, for back in the past even the stables, even those for the pigs, were built in normal stone combined with masonry stones.

By making this reservation you are accepting the following conditions: A.- Confirmation of Reservation The reservation will be confirmed after receipt of a payment within 6 days equivalent to 30% of the total cost of the stay. If this payment is not made within 6 days, the reservation will be cancelled. Payment can be made by credit card from our POS terminal, or bank transfer (an account number will be provided for this option). If paying by bank transfer, include details of your arrival and departure dates and the name of the person who made the reservation.
