“La casa de Piñeiro” is an old house that has been renovated conserving the original design. It keeps all the traditional flavour, the charm and the appealing features of a Galician house without leaving aside all the comforts of modern life.

Situated in a peaceful environment, we can enjoy the beautiful landscapes and the tranquillity of the countryside.
. It has got two floors. On the ground floor, there is a warm kitchen, a sitting room, a bathroom and a huge living room (60 metres) which used to be one of the old stables. The living room has got a large table and benches.
The big windows in the living room open into the garden. It is surrounded by a high hedge, which provides a complete privacy The kitchen keeps all the characteristic elements of the old house. There is a big hearth, typical of the farm houses and the old well that provided of the necessary water to the old inhabitants.


The sitting room has got comfortable sofas, wooden floors and a stove installed on a stone base.

Furniture in the house is mainly original and has been restored by their owners.

A fully equipped bathroom is next to the sitting room. Upstairs there is a wide and light corridor with an iron banister which has a beautiful view of the country. The corridor joins three double rooms (one of them with twin beds) furnished with old restored furniture.The first floor is made of wood and it preserves the original wooden beams. The twin-bedded room receives the light of the dusk and the heat of the downstairs chimney. We can have lunch in the shade of a chestnut tree or have a rest under a hundred-year-old fig tree or an old oak. Or just sit in the garden, in the sunshine.

The noiseless afternoons are only broken by the chirp of the birdsongs.
