This nicely presented, air-conditioned apartment is situated in the popular Verano Azul urbanisation, which benefits from 2 communal pools and well-maintained gardens. Nerja's beaches, shops, bars and restaurants are all within walking distance. The apartment has a double bedroom and a futon in the sitting room for extra guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven and hob. There is a dining table seating four, or meals can be enjoyed on the south facing terrace with sea views. The closest beach is Burriana, about 10 minutes walk straight down to the sea from the apartment. Please be aware that the walk back is very steep. There are many excellent restaurants on the beach. Ayo, which cooks giant paellas daily, is particularly popular. Approximately 3kms from Nerja is the small village of Maro. The famous caves here are truly breathtaking and shouldn't be missed. Also, the pretty, whitewashed mountain village of Frigiliana is just 6km away. Both these places can be easily reached by local buses. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from Nerja's bus station. Nerja is great for dining out, with many excellent restaurants and tapas bars. Alternatively, the terrace is big enough for you to dine 'al fresco' - or simply relax with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Transfers between Malaga airport and Nerja can be arranged.
