Recently completed, ground floor, luxury 2 bedroomed apartment, (termed bungalow by Spanish). The apartment is fully equipped with washing machine, microwave, satellite TV, CD player, etc. Sleeps upto 6. On beautiful secure site. Ideally situated for beaches, golf and interesting towns and markets. Easily accesible from Alicante or Murcia airports. Large communal swimming pool with toddler pool. There are also tennis and floodlit ball game courts, gardens and a childrens playground. There is a tiled sunbathing area at the back of the propeerty and a shaded porch at the front for dining/entertaining. Large paved area at the front for private parking and sunbathing. The view from the front window/porch is of the swiimming pool. The beautifully tiled bathroom has a bath, overhead shower, bidet and sink. The front bedroom is large with a double bed and fitted wardrobes. The second bedroom has two single beds and fitted wardrobes. A hairdryer, all bedlinen and towels are provided. Linen basket and chests of drawers are provided.The lounge/diner has a double bedsettee with 'pull out', an extendable table with four chairs and a welsh dresser. At the back of the west side of the site is a ball game court, gardens and childrens playground.Golf, water sports and a gymnasium, (which offers short term membership at very competitive rates) are close by. 10-15 minutes away are the uncommercialised blue flag beaches of Guardamar with their soft white sand, pavement cafes and wonderful surf. For a more commercialised experience, Torrevieja is just 20 minutes away and Alicante is 40 minutes away by road.
The championship La Finca golf course, which offers deals for prior booking of this and other courses, is very close by. It also offers superb wining and dining facilities, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and it is intended as a venue for the Spanish Open very soon. A garden centre/cafe overlooking miles of countryside is at the entrance to the drive upto La Finca and a new 90 unit centre has just been completed, offering banks, bars and shops. This is within easy walking distance. Convenient enough, but far enough away not to spoil the tranquility of the apartments' location. Some are open now, with more opening in the Spring. Currently, there is a small English shop, a pharmacy, some banks with cashpoints and three bar/restaurants
open for business.
The town of Algorfa has its own bars, disco, street cafes and shops and there is a fish and chip shop
just a short drive away.
A variety of bars and restaurants are in the local villages of Benijofer, Benimar, Quesada and Los Montesinos. There is a Mercadonna (supermarket) just through Los Montesinos (approx. 10 minutes drive from the urbanization) along the Torrevieja Road and a large Carrefour (which sells just about anything) and indoor shopping centre a couple of roundabouts on. 5 minutes more and you are in the bustling town of Torrevieja with it's rocky sea front and long pier. Every day is market day somewhere in the region, with one of the biggest just 5 minutes drive away from the property.
