Cortijo Linda is 300 years old but has been tastefully renovated to maintain its original character and charm. There are beamed ceilings, wooden shutters and the thick original walls help to keep you cool in the hot summer months. Inside the house it is fully furnished and every modern amenity is provided to ensure total comfort.

Outside there is a 9 x 4 metre swimming pool with Roman steps. Of course you can relax in the sun on the terraces and there are shaded areas provided with garden furniture and a purpose built barbecue. It has a fully netted gazebo with table and chairs which seats eight people. There is also an outside fridge for drinks. It is in a quiet location yet only 8kms away from the town of Albox where you can buy
your everyday needs. This offers an ideal retreat for those travellers who prefer a tranquil holiday away from the hectic coastal resorts. Travelling by car is easy and the main road from Albox runs close at hand in either direction to Baza, Granada or Almeria. To the north of Baza there are beautiful lakes and green forests, a walkers paradise. Other day trips include Mini-Hollywood, a wonderful day out for the children as there is plenty of entertainment for them, including a zoo. Vera has a waterside park for the younger members of the group or for the young at heart. Another town worthy of a visit is Sorbas, and if you go you must spend some time at the caves. For the golfers in the group there are 4 courses all within 40 minutes drive. Cortijo Grande is a favourite among the residents of Mojacar and surrounding areas.

One hours driving brings you to the famous town of Nijar which is famous for its pottery, and when you get tired of looking at all the shops there are pleny of bars and restaurants for you to choose from. The beaches of Mojacar and Garrucha are withing 40 minutes drive away and the beautiful quiet non tourist beach of Agua Amarga together with the beach of the dead is 60 minutes drive away.
Nijar a famous pottery town is well worth a visit and from there you can visit the beaches of Agua Amarga and Carboneras.
