Casa Rosaleda is set in the spectacular mountain scenery of Andalucia in Southern Spain. It is located in a peaceful but not isolated position only a few minutes drive from the restaurants and shops of Competa, a typically picturesque Pueblo Blanco, (White Village). This is the real Spain, an eternity away from the Kiss Me Quick hats of the Western Costa del Sol yet only 50 minutes from Malaga airport and 20 minutes from the unspoiled beaches and coves of the Costa Tropical. Our Villa has a lovely peaceful rural setting and is located amongst olive and orange trees on a large level plot that is attractively planted with a wide variety of Mediterranean plants and the whole area is walled and gated. The Villa has two good sized bedrooms that have built in wardrobes, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. The luxury bathroom has a full sized bath as well as a separate double sized shower and a bidet. It has a spacious and comfortably furnished living room with two sofas and it is equipped with satellite TV, DVD player and stereo. The fully equipped American kitchen is light and airy and has a full range of appliances including large fridge freezer, microwave, full size oven and 4 burner hob as well as the absolutely essential dishwasher. The very private swimming pool area has a 8m x 4m Solar Heated pool, good-sized sun terraces as well as a separate covered eating area with outside kitchen and barbecue for those 'al fresco' meals. There is also a large covered terrace at the front of the villa where you can sit or doze in the shade if its too hot by the pool or sip a glass of vino while watching the sun go down in the evening, the sunsets are amazing!

Casa Rosaleda is located off the main Torrox to Competa road and is easily approached by car down a well maintained concrete drive. (many villas in the area have long, pot holed dirt roads) It is ideally situated being only a few minuets drive from the villages of Competa, Archez, Canillas de Albaida and Torrox. There is a wealth of things for the whole family to do nearby. For the children there are pretty coves as well as ‘bucket & spade’ beaches; one of the best Aqua Parks in area is at Torre del Mar as is Go-Karting and the famous Caves of Nerja are all within 25 minutes drive. There are also great opportunities for horse riding & pony trekking for all abilities near Competa.

For those who like sight seeing, in addition to Competa there are many other Moorish Pueblo Blanco’s nearby just waiting to be explored. Further afield Granada & the Alhambra Palace are one and a half hour's drive and Sevilla and Cordoba are less than three. For keen golfers there are 2 18 hole golf courses within easy driving distance and skiing in the Sierra Nevada is less than 2 hours away. For those who enjoy the great out doors there are some spectacular walks in the Sierra Tejeda and Almijara Natural parks which are literally on the doorstep. You might try the gentle stroll along Moorish irrigation channels between Competa and Canillas through citrus and Avocado plantations. Or for the more adventuress the views from the old Malaga – Granada mule track up at 1000m or more are breathtaking.

The delights of the Sierras can also be experienced in comfort from a 4X4 safari with lunch thrown in or for petrol heads there are Quad and trial bikes tours as well.
