Originally, a wheat mill and with working bread ovens, this charming village house is a delightful setting for a relaxing holiday.

Some rooms maintain the same stones and beams that originally supported the heavy mills, and one of the new bedrooms, which is semicircular, keeps part of one of the old oven walls. It is located in the small village of La Joya ( which means Jewell in Spanish ) and is a beautiful and special place. This pretty village was, in the beginning, the holiday home of a wealthy family from Antequera.

They called it La Joya because of its stunning views and calmness. Nowadays, you can enjoy the same adventages and,the hospitality of its villagers and mild climate. An exceptional place for a relaxed or if the mood takes you, active holiday. You choose the pace. It is also in an excellent location, just fifteen minutes drive from. Antequera, the heart of Andalucia, with easy access to the cities of Córdoba, Granada or Seville. You can also enjoy the nature in El Torcal with its fantastic rock formations, and El Chorro, natural park with three reservoirs and the craggy gorge called Los Gaitanes. The historic cities of Granada, Cordoba & Seville are all within easy reach & skiing in the Sierra Nevada's is a two hour drive
