The Cortijo La Cepa is a modern and picturesque rural retreat beautifully surrounded by an unspoilt countryside, set in the mountains of the Axarquia, Andalucia,. Situated on the slopes of Magiaza, the views are impressive, with the majestic sierras to the north and the large mountain of Maroma in the Sierra Tejada to the east.

The house consists of two independent rural maisonette apartments (Uva Blanca + Uva Roja), both offering the same kind of comfort and the owner's house. The apartments can be rented individually (sleeps 4) or together (sleeps 8) which can be equipped with implements for infants at no extra charge. The apartments have their own independent entrance but they can be communicated by a terrace door in case it's rented by 8 members (+2 babies) of the same party. It's a perfect holiday choice for either families or groups, to spend time, be it resting, walking, making trips to near touristic places (Malaga, Granada, Cordoba) or the beaches of Costa del Sol. The modern and spacious maisonette „Uva Blanca“ constists of two floors: 1. Ground floor: A large livingroom connected to an open and fully-equipped kitchen (with a dining bar) and a dining space. 2. Mezzanine: Two bedrooms open to a gallery from where you can view the sitting room with a staircase connecting to the ground floor.

There is a modern bathroom on each floor of the apartment, both with showers. The entire apartment benefits from electric heating in each room, which makes it comfortably warm during colder seasons. The living room has large glass doors which open to a terrace overviewing the breathtaking rural scenery which can also be contemplated from the upper floor through a wide glass window incorporated in the front wall of the house.

Wireless internet connection (W-Lan) is provided free of charge. There is a completely contained, private garden area outside the house with a sheltered lounge for outdoor dining, equipped with a stone grill and a sink with running water. The lounge boasts views across the valley and is surrounded by olive and almond groves.

The small private pool is built by the garden next to the terrace and is artistically decorated by the owner of the house. The pool can be illuminated at night and is a perfect spot for relaxation. Also, clients have acess to the main pool (4 x 9m) area that provides a sheltered cabin with lounging chairs as well as an outdoor shower and a toilet. Bedding and bath (not swimming) towels are all provided, all of which are laundered weekly. Changeover day is Saturday. All arrivals are met by the owner in the village and shown up to and around the house (in English, Spanish, German or French). The use of a private vehicle is advised. The white village of Riogordo is 5 minutes drive and offers a good range of shops for most needs. Further afield is Malaga (35 minutes), Velez-Malaga (30 minutes), Torre Del Mar and sand beaches (35 minutes) and Nerja and pebble beaches (50 minutes), Granada (70 minutes), Sevilla and Cordoba (120 minutes).
