La Loma is a hilltop hideway set amongst 4 acres of olive groves with magnificent panoramic views over the lake, the charming villages of Iznajar and Rute and the surrounding mountains. Set on the edge of the Sierra Subettica, it is an ideal location for those seeking peace, tranquility, hillside walks, bird watching, painting/sketching and as a base from which to discover the cultural delights of Granada, Cordoba, Antequera, Ronda and Seville. Recently restored to include all the comforts of modern day living. La Loma, has been tastefully restored to provide luxury accommodation in a rural setting. There is a large (10m x 5m, depth from 1.4m to 1.9m) swimming pool with panoramic lake and mountain views. There are steps at the shallow end for easy access and the pool is surrounded by a large tiled terrace equiped with sun loungers and cushions for lazy days soaking up the sun. The casita has a private shaded terrace with table and chairs for al fresco dining. The views from the terrace can only be described as superb and can be used for watching the abundant bird life in the area or the swallows dipping into the pool for a drink. Casita La Loma has two bedrooms, two bath rooms and a large spacious living area.
The bedrooms are furnished with quality wooden furniture. The Master Bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables, large wardrobe.
The second bedroom has twin beds, bedside table, large wardrobe, ensuite shower room.
Both ensuite shower rooms are beautifully tiled and have double size showers, basin and WC.
There is a spacious open plan Kitchen / living area. The kitchen area is fitted in traditional Andalucian style with oven and hob. Fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle etc and full range of cookware. There is a dining area with table and chairs.
The cosy lounge area is stylishly furnished with chair and 3 seater bed settee, coffee table, Satellite TV, DVD, games and books etc. There is central heating and a wood burning stove for use in the cooler months. Both bedrooms and lounge area have breathtaking panoramic views of Iznajar lake and the surrounding countryside. Fans are provided in the summer months and the casita is naturally cool it they benefits from the hilltop breezes in the summer.
The casita is non smoking, but you are welcome to smoke outside on the terraces.
Linen and towels are changed twice per week.

The casita is about 10 minutes drive from the hilltop village of Iznajar .

Iznajar commands views over the surrounding countryside - rolling olive clad hills as far as the eye can see, and the lake - 32 kms long and 6kms wide.

The nearest large cities are Antequera 25 minutes away and Malaga. Granada, Cordoba and Seville are within easy reach.

There is a sandy beach on the lake 15 mins. drive away or within walking distance if you prefer, but pack your walking boots. There is sailing, water sports and fishing. The nearest golf course is at the historic town of Antequera. You can ski during the winter and spring on the beautiful Sierra Nevada one hour away. Horse riding is also available about 15 minutes drive from La Loma.

There is so much to see and do in Andalucia, just relax and enjoy the scenery and people of Real Spain.
