This spacious and comfortable cave home is ideal for a relaxing break. Andalucia is in Southern Spain and the temperature in the summer months can reach up to 50 degrees, but in spring and autumn a very pleasant 25 - 30 degrees. On average we have 320 days of sunshine a Year. The Historical Town of Guadix is only a 20 drive away as is the troglodite village of Purullena, so called because of its vast number of cave houses. The Town of Baza is 20 minutes away and the City of Granada only 1 hour both with many shops and restaurants. Also in Granada you have the famous Alhambra Palace and The Sierra Nevada Mountains. La Mazucar Cave House is situated in the small village of Bacor, with its typical cobbled streets and white washed houses and caves. Ideal for that relaxing break to recharge the batteries. Bacor is surrounded by Mountains and National Parks. The Village consists of 3 small grocery shops, a fishmongers, butchers, bakers which delivers fresh bread to your door. There is a doctors, small chemist, post office and a small market on Sundays. At ¨Bar Jesus¨you can enjoy a drink and tapas with fabulous views, basic meals are served and are fantastic value for money. The Lake Negratin is only a 10 minute drive away, it is ideal for sunbathing, swimming and fishing (permits needed). In the summer months you can hire pedaloes from as little as €5 per hour. There is an onsite Bar which serves drinks and icecreams. You can also enjoy local meals from €7.50 per person for 3 courses wine and bread. Just 20 minutes drive away you can relax in the hot springs overlooking the beautiful lake, there is a round restaurant built into the mountain above. Bacor hosts a variety of fiestas with its main one held in june which lasts 3 days, with many activities for all the family including music and traditional dancing, giant paella party, foam party, face painting, football competition etc. The local residents of Bacor are very friendly and welcoming so for a taste of traditional spanish life and a very relaxing holiday Bacor is ideal. Beautiful views in a peacefull setting. Ideal for a chilled relaxing break and for those who enjoy visiting local sites of interest.
