The town of Torrevieja is only 10 minutes away and easily reached by car, bus or taxi. It is a fascinating place to visit particularly in the evening when you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the harbour and enjoy the nightlife and visit the museum, restaurants, bars and take a boat trip . It is surrounded by 2 national saltwater lagoons home to wildlife including flamingos.

According to the World Health Organisation the lakes make the area one of the healthiest places to live with health properties such as rhematic dermatological and respitary complaints and great for its curative properties for a large number of people.

On Fridays there is a street market believed to be the largest in europe. You can also shop till you drop in the many boutiques or the new Harbenas Shopping Centre with many famous labels such as Zara and Puma.
