This lovely ground floor apartment is situated Phase 1 of Roda Golf & Beach Resort. It overlooks the communal pool and is set in beautifully landscaped garens plus it is only a 5 minute walk from the Dave Thomas designed PGA accredited par 72 18-hole course with all the usual facilities. The apartment has been equipped and furnished to the highest standards and is ideal for families and couples as well as golfers, We are only too happy to organise any extra facilities you may requrie such as a high chair or cot, welcome packs and provide a meeting service as standard. All you have to do is let us know and we will be delighted to assist with any of your rental arrangements. Roda Golf is situated on the outskirts of Los Alcazares, a typical Spanish seaside resort on the shores of the world famous Mar Menor salt water lagoon close to La Manga and many of the well known golf courses of the Costa Blanca. The property is ideal for the golfer and non-golfer making it an ideal all year round holiday location. Local activities diving, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golf, wind-surfing, water skiing, mountain biking.
Roda Golf & Beach Resort at Los Alcazares is situated about 10 minutes by car or taxi from San Javier (Murcia) Airport. This airport is served by most of the low cost airlines from regional airports in the UK and in Europe. Alicante Airport is about 45 minutes away by car and also served by most of the low cost as well as national carriers from the major airports of Europe. For those who are travelling from the US or from other continents, then international flights can be taken to Madrid and then onwards. La Casita at Roda Golf & Beach Resort is also an ideal base for the non-golfer. It is a secure gated resort with pleasant walking and cycling paths but also within a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach of the Mar Menor Lagoon. The area renowned for its mild winters and excellent summers is known as the 'greenhouse of Europe' and at the apartment you will find details of lots of information about local places to visit and things to do to ensure you have a fabulous Murcia experience. There are activities for all for the active walker to the active shopper! Murcia and Cartagena are cities both rich in local history as well as excellent shopping centres whilst nearby is the beautiful national park of Sierra Espuna. This lovely park rises above the town of Totana, and offers fantastic walks, mountain bike rides and rock climbing. La Casita offers 2 luxurious double bedrooms with the Master suite having an full ensuite luxury bathroom , double wardrobe, and overlooks the pool and gardens. The second double bedroom with the the shower room located immediately adjacent to form a second suite and again has a double wardrobe with with ample hanging space. This bedroom has its own sun terrace to the back of the property accessed by double patio doors directly from the bedroom. Both bedrooms have 2 single beds which can be pushed together to form double beds.

* Each bathroom is tiled floor to ceiling in marble and boasts the normal facilities one would expect in a luxury property. There is constant hot water provided by the gas combi boiler. Hairdryers are provided for each bedroom so no need to bring those with you. Roda Golf Course has been designed to be enjoyed by the golf player: 18 holes, 72 par, and 6,177 metres, extensive and undulating greens, strategically-placed bunkers and three large lakes that form part of this exciting course. We must highlight Dave Thomas’ famous Hole 7, with an extremely scenic island green. Any player, whichever their level, will enjoy playing on this course.

Roda Golf Course is hosting the first PGA (European Professional Golf Association) amateur and professional golf academy outside the United Kingdom. The agreement reached with the PGA will mean that more than 7,000 professional players from 55 countries will be able to practice during the winter and train at Roda Golf Course Services & Facilities Apart from the golf course, players can also enjoy different practice areas, a singular putting green and a Temporary Club House with a restaurant offering you unbeatable views over the lake at hole 18. The new Clubhouse will open in March 2008. Roda Golf & Beach Resort also has its own private Beach Club which will be opened during the Summer of 2008 and it is located on the the La Manga spit. The Club is accessible either by road or by ferry from Santiago de la Ribera and then by minibus to the Club. Once the Beach Club is open, bookings for a visit to the the Beach Club must be made locally with Customer Services at Roda Golf.

The Costa Calida stretches from San Pedro de Pinatar on the southern Costa Blanca to South of Cartagena encompassing the wonderful Mar Menor. This is the largest salt water lagoon in Europe with superior water temperatures which all goes to support its reputation as one of the healthiest places in Europe. The salt lakes are reputed to contain therapeutic qualities and there are also many thalassotherapy spas as well as the spa baths of Fortuna in the hills near to the Medieval city of Murcia. Roda Golf & beach Resort is situated in the local Spanish town of Los Alcazares famous for its Roman baths.

A deposit of 25% of the rental charge will be required at the time of booking to secure the booking. The balance is required 6 weeks prior to departure. If a booking is cancelled within the 6 week period, then deposits will be non-refundable. Please ensure that you take out adequate holiday insurance in order to cover the cost of any cancellation. Please also note that a 150 pound security deposit is required for all bookings.

We will arrange for our local agents to meet you at the property on arrival to introduce you to the facilities of La Casita and to ensure you that you settle in to your holiday home without any problems. We will provide you with all the contact and emergency contact numbers with your holiday confirmation pack. Please note that all hand and bath towels, kitchen linen and beach towels are included in the rental price. If you require a welcome pack, please let us know and we will provide you with whatever you require. Please note that there will be a final cleaning charge of 65 euros locally to your host on arrival . Should you require a mid week clean or change of laundry, then please let your host know your requirements.
We are happy to quote for short breaks. Please contact us for rates and charges. We are also happy to arrange rounds of golf at Roda Golf & Beach Resort. Guests of La Casita benefit from a 20% discount on the green fees. Roda Golf has all the usual benefits of a luxury resort but please note the hotel & spa facilities will not be available until the 3rd quarter of 2009, although there is a spa at the Beach Club which will be available mid Summer onwards.
