It is situated about a mile from the popular resort of Torrevieja, on a well established development (30 years) set in lush foliage, surrounded by orange groves and adjacent to a salt lake. The peaceful development has the benefit of its own tennis court, swimming pool, church, library and an excellent Spanish run bar/restaurant. There are regular bus links to town (15mins) or Murcia (60mins) and there are numerous shops, banks, supermarkets, restaurants and bars within walking distance, as is the beach. Further a field there are lots of visitor attractions including the nearby Park of Nations, Safari Park, Aqua Centre and Multiplex Cinema. There is easy direct motorway access to both Alicante and Murcia San Javier airports (30mins) which are served by numerous low-cost flights from U.K Airports (2.5hours). Car hire is available from as little as £10 a day. The main living space/Kitchen is cordoned off with curtain on right. The traditional hacienda styled apartment is on the ground floor in a low rise development. It comprises a lounge/kitchenette with a patio dining area. The kitchenette is equipped with a washing machine/fridge/kettle and useful George Foreman grill. There is a fully sprung double sofa bed and cooling fan. The bedroom has two single beds twin speed ceiling fan, ample storage and there is a bathroom with shower adjacent. Outside there is a small private garden shaded by a beautiful large palm tree, and two sun – loungers. Lago Jardin has its own multi denominational church, large pool and tennis court. Torrevieja is a quiet modern town on the southern extremity of the Costa Blanca. It has it's own beaches and stylish Marina. On the Mar Menor only a short distance away, there are therapeutic mud spas, and sporting resort of La Manga.
