This first floor, air conditioned apartment is situated on the outskirts of the lively Spanish town of Los Montesinos. The property is well presented, has two bedrooms, one double and one twin. The apartment has its own private sun terrace, fully equipped with sun loungers and patio furniture. There is a communal pool, which is exclusive to guests, accessed via an electronic key. There is a large supermarket, bar and restaurant just a few minutes walk away. The urbanization of La Herrada is approximately 20 minutes walk from a typical Spanish town, Los Montesinos. The main hub of the town is centred around the town square, where local fiestas and celebrations take place. There are a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants.

The nearest beach is a short 15 minute drive away, Guardamar beach is a particular favourite, uncommercialised, blue sea, and miles of white sand, what more could you want ! If you want to shop, shop, shop, then a short drive to the Haberneras shopping centre is the direction you need to head take, this is just outside the holiday resort of Torrevieja, which also offers a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants. There are several markets held in all the main towns in the area and are really worth spending a couple of hours browsing around. For the golfers there are several golf courses within easy reach, Greenlands is 5 minutes drive away, La Finca, Villamartin, Las Ramblas and La Marquesa are all within a 15 minute drive away.

For the children there are two great waterparks within a 10 minute drive, Aquopolis & Rojales, these are both great day's out. You can even take a drive to the waterpark just outside Benidorm, Aqualandia, or visit Terra Mitica, Mundomar, or the beautiful village of Guadalest. Southern Costa Blanca or "white Coast", has an average of 320 days a year of sunshine and maintains an average year round temperature of 24C. According to the World Health Organisation the area has the "healthiest climate in the world". This is created by the combination of a constant year round warm temperature and the two huge salt lakes rich in minerals of "Laguna de la mata" (now a conservation area) and the "Salina de San Miguel". There is something for everyone on the White Coast, from simply relaxing around the pool or lazing on one of the beautiful sandy beaches in the area, to walking, golfing or shopping. The children will be very happy too, with waterparks close by, you could take a picnic and have a fabulous day out.
