Cortijo La Nava is a traditional Andalucian Farmhouse located in the spanish countryside between Archidona and Villanueva Del Trabuco at the gateway to Seville, Granada & Cordoba, yet only 45 minutes from Malaga and Granada airports and the beaches of the Costa del Sol.

The Cortijo has been beautifully restored retaining many original features and rustic charm and is surrounded by rolling olive groves, mountains and spectacular scenery. Cortijo La Nava is the ideal location to get away from the pressures of the 21st century.

Activities you can enjoy in this beautiful area of Spain include sight-seeing, walking, cycling, bird watching, climbing, horse riding or just relaxing by the pool and in the garden. The Farmhouse has 4 bedrooms - two with ensuite shower rooms, 1 family sized bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a comfortable lounge. Satellite TV is installed and a DVD/CD player with a good choice of DVD/CDs available. There are many games and books at your disposal.

Linen and towels are provided except pool/beach towels. Cleaning and bedding and towel change carried out mid-week. Villanueva del Trabuco is a typical white walled pueblo and enjoys a slower pace of life, unless you visit during one of the many fiestas when things get very lively. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Archidona and it's eight sided central plaza and convent are only a short drive away. Here you will also find a good selection of bars and restaurants and also a larger supermarket but why not shop as the locals do and visit the daily fish and vegetable market. Cortijo La Nava is situated in the midst of olive groves and the lovely pueblos (villages) nearby are unspoilt by tourism. The Farmhouse is fully equipped for self-catering and has large secure grounds for children which can be explored. The local people are very friendly and welcoming.

We are within easy reach of the motorway which links Malaga, Granada, Seville and Cordoba. Visit Granada and the magnificent Alhambra Palace, within the hour. Cordoba, where the world-famous Mezquita, the Moorish mosque is located. Skiing and mountain biking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the wonderful city of Seville are all within two hours drive.

Closer to home you can visit the nearby town of Antequera, the magnificent limestone gorge and lakes in El Chorro, the prehistoric dolmen caves and El Torcal Park Nature Reserve.

The pool and gardens are shared with guests staying at the Granary, property ref: 504. The Granary can be rented in conjunction with the Farmhouse.
