Situated on the edge of a rural hamlet, with glorious views across open countryside to the mountain ranges beyond and the Mediterranean in the distance. ( On a clear day the African coast can be seen ).

Encircled by a pretty walled garden, Casa Almendro is a spacious and quite private house.

Within the house there is a large sitting / dining room with fire place, where French doors open onto the covered dining terrace and BBQ. From the second sitting room and dining area steps lead up to the first floor where two of the four bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Lawned gardens and pretty borders encompass the gated swimming pool providing plenty of natural shade to sit and enjoy the stunning views that Casa Almendro offers. Swimming Pool : 6.5 x 4.5m ( enclosed ) Amenities : The hamlet of Los Nogales does not have a shop or a bar but it does have a mobile fruit and vegetable seller. 10 minutes drive and you will find the village of La Joya with a small selection of basic facilities, Grocer, chemist & a bar, : Antequera : 20 minutes drive with banks, supermarkets, shops, bars and all the amenities : The area has a wide range of walks accessed directly from the villa. Horse riding can be found in the area.

Nearby are the El Chorro lakes & the Fuente de Piedra lake, where you can see thousands of pink flamingos, also you can bathe in the waters of the roman Spa baths of Carratraca. The historic cities of Granada, Cordoba & Seville are all within easy reach & skiing in the Sierra Nevada's is a two hour driveBeach : A variety of beaches can be found all along the Costa del Sol, 50 minutes drive away
