This modern, spacious 3 bedroom apartment is situated in the popular Port of Alcudia, which is now just a 40 minutes drive from Palma airport. Alcudia is fast becoming one of the most popular family destinations in Mallorca. Situated in the north of the island, Alcudia is about 55km from the capital of Palma; the location may be quiet but the lifestyle certainly isn't - and if all you're after is sun, a safe, sandy beach and constant entertainment for children, then this is the place for you.
Mallorca is an excellent family choice because there are many daily departures from most UK airports and flight times are only around 2 hours. This 3rd floor privately owned apartment is located in a mainly residential block second line from the beach with secure, well lit entrance lobby and a lift.

The apartment comprises of lobby with hallway leading to bathroom (1) with shower and on to the fully fitted kitchen with cooker, hob with extractor, refrigerator, microwave, other small domestic appliances and iron/board. From the kitchen there is a small balcony/washing area with washing machine and drying area. The entrance lobby also leads to large dining area, with table and chairs for 6 people, and lounge area with large corner sofa unit. TV, Satellite, and DVD facilities are provided and a south facing balcony, with further table and chairs, is accessible from the lounge area. The hallway from the lounge leads to the family bathroom with bath and shower and the 3 bedrooms which can comfortably sleep 7 people. There are two double bedrooms and one twin room. The twin beds can be made into bunk beds allowing space to accommodate a further pull-out single bed or travel cot if required. Each bedroom has a large built in wardrobe. Alcudia is fast becoming one of the most popular areas on the Island, in or out of season. The beautiful bay of Alcudia has kilometres of extensive sandy beach providing safe bathing and all the usual beach activities, including sailing, water-skiing, wind-surfing, para-gliding, banana and glass-bottom boat rides and volleyball. Alcudia provides easy access to the western mountain ranges where you will find the spectacular gorge at La Colobra, the town and port of Soller and Deia, made famous by the English poet Robert Graves, now home to some of the rich and famous. For the bird and butterfly watchers, S'Albufera Natural Park is just 5 minutes away and for the golfers, apart from the 9 hole course at nearby Pollensa, there is the new 18 hole links course at Alcanada, also 5 minutes away. There are more excellent uncrowded courses at Canyamel, Capdepera and Son Severa on the north-east coast all around 45 minutes drive and 36 holes at both Pula and Son Antem, the new Marriott resort near Llucmayor.

The Port, with its splendid Marina, is less lively than some parts of the resort although hotels and bars can provide plenty of entertainment. It is inundated with some very nice restaurants offering all kinds of Mediterranean Cuisine and typical Spanish/Mallorcean dishes, tapas (a must to try, specifically at Ramons, Ca'n Punyetes and Sa Forqueta) to Chinese (Shangrila & Gran Chino) and Thai. Also Carabela Steak House and Bodega des Port on The Paseo are good choices.
