Delightful beach & sea views everyday with this super 4 bedroom apartment. The living area, balcony and main bedroom have a super Mediterranean view and overlook the working lighthouse and the ‘platja del far'’ beach, (far meaning lighthouse).
Directly in front is the busy fishing port which has the 2nd largest catch in Cataluña, and is second only to Barcelona's huge port. To the right, the view extends over to the the modern sports harbour and 2nd main beach ‘Platja de Ribes Roges’.
Vilanova offers a perfect relaxing holiday, with the beach & the med, or to spend time visiting the lovely towns of Vilanova, sitges and the beautiful city of Barcelona.
The balcony is suitable for Dining or a sunbathing terrace and is perfect for the evening, while enjoying a bottle of the local inexpensive wine!
The property is on the 4th floor of a residential apartment block. There are 4 bedrooms; 1 double, 1 smaller double, 1 twin and small room with bunks. Living Room with dining area leading to a balcony with furniture and stunning views over the Mediterranean. Decent sized kitchen with a back balcony containing washing machine, dryer & dishwasher. 2 bathrooms, both with a shower, 1 with a bath.
Vilanova has in excess of 3km of golden sandy beaches. In season there are a number of activities on offer including beach bars, water sports, ball games and boat hire. Many have amenities such as toilets & showers. All the beaches have a EU blue flag for their cleanliness.

Barcelona is just 25 minutes away by the numerous daily trains.
The station is about 5-10 minute walk from the and with well over 70 trains a day Barcelona city centre can be reached in about 35 minutes and for not much more than €5.00. The train will stop at both Sants Station and then at Paseo de Gracia - right in the shopping heart of Barcelona!
Sitges, famous for it's nightlife is just on the doorstep and is reached in minutes by car or the same amount of time by catching the same train as to Barcelona. Sitges has great beaches, shopping, bars & restaurants.
Vilanova I la Geltru is the capital of El Garraf, a region which lies half-way between the main metropolitan areas of Barcelona (40 kms to the North), and Tarragona (45 kms to the South), and covers a total area of 33km².
A bustling fishing town with beautiful beaches, numerous friendly bars & restaurants. Take a stroll up the main ‘Rambla’ and you will find a great selection of local shops and get a real feel for the Catalan way of life.
Vilanova lies in the heart of the Penedes wine region, where many wine producers may be visited, and the nearby home of the famous Cava. The main town for the Cava production is Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, and is about a 25 minute drive inland.
Walking is one of Spain's favourite past times and come early evening, hundreds of locals stroll the front or up the tree lined avenue called 'La Rambla'. The bars are packed serving ice creams and coffees to the many families out and about.
Barcelona Airport is approx 25 mins from the property in taxi (approx €60-70) or 40-50 mins via train, changing at El Prat de Llobregat (approx €4-5 each).
Barcelona (Reus) airport is approx 35 miles south of the apartment - a short taxi ride to the train station and you can catch a train to Vilanova (1 change).
Ryanair also fly to Barcelona (Gerona) - be aware that this airport is 100miles north of Vilanova and can take up to 2 hours in car. The train system can be used but will involve a qty of changes. Car hire available at all airports.
