A converted 18th century Galician farmhouse, Casa Quireza is full of character (and characters!), and has its own natural spring as well as an horreo. If you don't know what one of those is, we guarantee that you will by the end of your stay!

Alfie the lurcher loves company and is everybody's friend.

We love it here and we are sure you will too! We have 4 double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms, including one ground floor bedroom for easy access. Each room is a generous size and comes complete with ensuite bathroom, TV and stunning views of the surrounding villages and countryside.

There is plenty to do, we have a pentanque pitch and numerous board games in English. You can even help collect the eggs and feed the hens!

There is a secluded sun terrace, a quiet courtyard and a front terrace where meals can be served al fresco. During your stay at Casa Quireza, you can expect to wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread, welcoming you down to breakfast. Choose from a selection cereals, pastries, fresh fruits or our own free range eggs.

If you opt for full board, we prepare a delicious evening meal made to order from local ingredients and with an expertise that comes from over 30 years of home cooking and as a professional chef. We serve a variety of Spanish dishes and other dishes of our own creation.

We are able to cater for most specialist diets so please let us know your requirements and we will happily do our best to accommodate your needs. Spain is famous for its fiestas and Galicia is no exception. There are a number of special occasions throughout the year, and each is celebrated differently depending on where you are. These events include the Rapa das Bestas in early summer, when the wild horses are rounded up from the hills and mountains for their manes and tails to be trimmed.
There are several gastronomic festivals and the Medeival Fair in September. We offer a special package for this event.

The waters on the coast here are calm and temperate, making them perfect for sailing, swimming, fishing and, our favourite, SCUBA diving. You can also go walking (guided), canoeing, cycling, quad biking, horse riding, fly fishing, bird watching, white-water rafting within the region. There is a pool 10 minutes away.
