At Villa Rosaleda the lovely swimming pool is overlooked by a covered veranda, perfect for lazy days or refreshing sundowners with a slice of lemon from your own tree. To the front of the house there are palm trees and shrub borders lining
your view of the Mediterranean beyond. Furnished for holiday comfort, the house offers a sitting room with big windows to flood the room with of natural light. The kitchen, dining room, master bedroom and twin bedrooms are also on this floor. Steps lead up to a double bedroom with two private terraces. There is an independent exterior entrance via a wrought iron staircase to this bedroom.To the rear of the villa is an orchard with avocado and chirimoya trees.

Sierra Nevada: Mountain biking, Walking, Climbing can all be found in the nearby Alpujarras & skiing in the Sierra Nevada. Granada which is easily reached from the Costa by motorway should not be missed. It is a beautiful city drenched in history. There is a saying in Spanish ‘Quien no ha visitado Granada, no ha visitado nada’ ( The person who has not visited Granada has seen nothing). The highlight in a visit to Granada is the Alhambra Palace which is one of the most beautiful monuments in Europe, if not the most. It is set on a low hill between 2 rivers with the backdrop being the Sierra Nevada. It was the palace of the last Muslim Kingdom & shows off Moorish architecture & art at its peak. (Tickets should be booked in advance) There are of course many other things to do & see in Granada, from the Albaicin, an old Moorish ghetto, to the Renaissance Cathedral in the City. staying. The Sierra Nevada is unique in Europe. It has the most southerly ski resort in mainland Europe & also is one of the highest, which means it has hours of sunshine with a longer than usual skiing season. The mountains are snow capped for most of the year. In the summer you can go horse riding, mountain walking / biking & hang gliding. It is full of wildlife from, butterflies, the Nevada blue, to Spanish Ibex, these are unique to the area. There are a great array of plants, some also
endemic to the area. It is a magical place whether you want to go skiing or cool off in the summer months. The Sierra Nevada is a national park & the information centre is located on the Carretera de Sierra Nevada.
